I test drove a normal STI once, I don’t think I could live with it; it was just too noisy.

I’ m not surprised these have depreciated that much. As limited as they are, I think they are really only special to Subaru fans.

I think it also has to do with the fact that, aside from the carbon roof, that’s basically every modded STi out there.

You’re right anyway, but did the one you test drove have the SPT (Subaru Performance Tuned?) exhaust? I’ve heard horrendous things about how much that drones.
But, yeah, it’s loud anyway with wind noise and tire noise too.

I’m not sure, I think it was just a regular STI. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by my BMWs, but it was just too noisy and unrefined for me to ever live with it.
